IT Systems Analyst

Full-time / Mid-Senior level

Position Summary

VirTech Development is looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to develop business related solutions for our clients while also assist in the process of client-onboarding and provide the necessary initial consultations.
You will work and coordinate with your team leader and team members to ensure the project completion according to the gathered project requirements from the clients.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge with modern systems analysis techniques and system design best practices, skills working with Microsoft Visio and UML diagrams.
• Good team collaboration skills and efficiency in sharing information.
• Have the ability to decompose business problems across different subject areas domains and extract project requirements from the stakeholders.
• Able to navigate through the technical requirement needed for the project and assess the cost associated with project and its individual features
• Good time management skill to be able to complete and deliver the assigned task within its allotted timeline
• Be familiar with different communications channels (email, in-person, voice and video chat) to deliver project updates to teammates and clients
• Knowledge with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile design principles with the ability to implement them via UML and software design patterns
• Be familiar with at least 1 programming language and data base engine (i.e. SQL Server)

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or any related field is required
• Experience in working with Microsoft Visio for diagraming software systems
• Strong knowledge with XML and JSON web messaging
• Strong knowledge with any cloud platform (i.e. Azure and Amazon)
• Must have the basic knowledge of computer networking protocols and able to design systems that work on a local area network
• Familiar with at least 1 programming language like C# or PHP
• Familiar with at least 1 database engine like SQL Server or MySQL
• Being familiar with Tableau or any other Data Visualization software is a plus

Job Responsibilities

• Work directly with the client and all project’s stakeholders to gather project requirements and deliver the costs estimate
• Create a development plan for the client’s system and choose the best technology stack to use
• Apply software design patterns using standard UML 2.0 diagrams while documenting your designs in clear understandable format
• Provide a timely response to teammates’ and the stakeholders’ engagements with you
• Install or help installing the project on either our own infrastructure of servers or on the client’s IT infrastructure
• Provide technical support after the project’s delivery and be able to integrate any errors that arise within your present daily schedule.
